Problem with Oracle8 and ODBC

Hello, 



I have several  programs developed in VB + Oracle 7 (server and client
for NT) + Microsoft ODBC Driver for Oracle.



Now, I want to use Oracle8 Server and client fo NT, but in such
environment programs doesn't works any more.
I tried to use the ODBC shipped with the oracle8 client, and it seem
to work.


But sometimes, I get following ODBC error:
"Connection closed by user request".



Have anyone seen this problem?
