Problem with rawtohex function

I want to convert a long row in hexa but it's not running and i don't understand why ?

Everyone can help me ?

What i do :

Select rawtohex(chrum) from tableclash;

and what happen :
ORA-00997: illegal use of LONG datatype

Please give an exemple if you have a solution
