There was Oracle7, it included 7.0, 7.1, 7.2, and 7.3

There was Oracle8, it included all of the 8.0.* versions. There is Oracle8i, release 8.1.5.
There is now Oracle8i release 2 (version 8.1.6)

To see the major differences between the version and feature/function matrices, see http://technet.oracle.com/doc/server.815/a68020/toc.htm
