Wrox has a programmers reference VB Oracle 8 which is a good reference but might not be ideally suited for a beginner to both VB and Oracle (which is how I read your request). It might be better to try a Database Programming in VB book aimed at your level. This will probably concentrate on SQL server but the principles are certainly transferable. Also read the reviews of the books at Amazon before you buy any of them.
