snapshots

OS: Unixware 2.1.2
Rdbms: Oracle 7.3.4.4

I'm trying to create a snapshot of a table on another Oracle database and I'm getting the message:

ORA-02088: distributed database option not installed

Does this indicate a problem with the database where I am trying to create the snapshot or is it with the database that has the table that I'm trying to make a snapshot of (that database is 7.3.2)?

Is this a seperately licensed produce or is this just a choice that is made when installing oracle. What would I have to do to be able to create snapshots? Received on Wed Feb 23 2000 - 14:13:09 CST
