Development Box

Hello,

I'm looking to do some development work using Developer 6.0. Will Developer coexist on a box with an Oracle 8 database using a Microsoft OS? I've had trouble with this in the past using Developer, Personal Oracle and Win95. If you're using a single box for developer work please give me a brief run down of your setup.
