hi,

as a beginner in programming oracle system, i tried to get a &variable and work on with the value of it. when i start my script again, the &variable still
has its old value and so no new value can be inserted. it only works when i leave the sql*plus prompt with exit and reconnect to it ...
but i think that isn't the right way ;o) so how could you reset the &variables that you insert with one command , when you start the script again ?

thanks for the tips,
greetings

lars
