Hi,
Any kind of help is valuable.
I am in a situation to refine an existing database design. Certain columns have field length (eg., 2000) where the entire length is not used. Is it advisable to redefine the length appropriately. As varchar2 is non-padding is it really important to redefine?

Thanks,
