CLOB type and ODBC

My previous message, asking about how to create fields larger than 2k/4k on Oracle, was answered -- thanks --- by steering us to using the CLOB datatype.

But we want to create these Oracle fields, which are larger than 2k or 4k (using CLOB's) from our C++ ODBC programs. Will this work? I cannot find docs on this, and our first attempts are failing. Do CLOBs and ODBC co-exist? HELP!!!
