Issues with SQl Server 6.5 to Oracle 8.1.5 migration

I have SQL Server 6.5, MTS, MFC and ODBC with a microsoft ODBC driver.
If I am doing a migration to Oracle do I need to swap out the MS ODBC
driver?  What are the implications?  If I do what are the alternatives?
If I don't are there any gottcha's?



I know these are broad questions.  I'm just trying to get a feel for
what would be involved.
