Free Developer Oracle does not run on Solaris!?

Hi!



I use the free Oracle 8.1.5 for NT. The Java application runs well on this
platform.


When deploying this system onto Sun solaris, the JDBC - Driver makes a fault
like:


Not a correct Oracle - Thin - Driver.



Can it be, that the Oracle Thin - Driver for Oracle has something like a
protection,


so that you can't run it on other platforms like NT ???
