Jim,

Depending on the platform...
You should use 8.0.5 ot perferably an 8.1.x agent. The 8.0.4 agent was seperate from the dg and the dg was buggy. You can run the dg on an NT box to monitor stats for a unix box, but you wont get all the OS stats
