In order to connect to Oracle 8.1.5 using the latest MDAC 2.1 Oracle
ODBC driver v2573.5202, the client PCs need an ORACLE_HOME environment
variable in their autoexec.bat file;



ex. SET ORACLE_HOME=c:\Oracle8



Hope this helps someone, I was at wits end.
