How do I fix OUIProcess error under Redhat 6.1?

How do I get around the OUIProcess error when trying to install Oracle 8i under Redhat linux 6.1?

Please be relatively specific.

So far my only suggestions have involved trying to install under KDE which has not worked. I have upgraded enlightenment as well. I have installed all the compatability RPMs. I have the right version of the JVM. I KNOW someone else has had this problem. Surely I am not the only one.

I am just stumped and a little upset at Redhat and Oracle for this.
