using Suse Linux 6.1 / PC 200Mhz /
Installation of 8.0.5 with orainst

Hello,

I canīt find backspace or something like this to erase the characters e.g. for group OSOPER or for raw-devices that the installation programm orainst suggests !

Is orainst buggy or did I choose the
wrong terminal settings ?

Suse suggests ORACLE_TERM=vt220, see
http://www.suse.de/en/support/oracle/oracle8051STD_suse61.html

Iīve tried the others vtīs (100, 52, 320, ...), too but no chance. I canīt override the characters either. What a nasty little obstacle.

BTW: I install ORACLE on my PC, there no telnet

     or something like this between.

Has somebody an idea?

tia
