Hi;
The oracle dbas that I support asked for a script that will monitor the Oracle alerts log file and send them via pager or email a list of anything new coming up.
This sounds like something that's probably been done a time or two before and I was wondering if anyone would like to share their methods of doing that. It would certainly save me an hour to two of scripting and probably a couple of days worth of research on what all the oracle errors mean.
