Hello to all, I'm currently in an Oracle Developer class & have Personal Oracle ver 8.0.xx on my Windows98 machine at home. Most functions working OK, I'm trying to get the tcp-loopback listener to run, have gone through the Net8config & the test function for tcp-loopback.world with bequeath function set up for local use says all is well. Then when I try to start up the listener with command line

LSNRCTL80.EXE start

Windows give me this headache

LSNRCTL80 caused an invalid page fault in module <unknown> at 0000:00000000.

Any ideas?

I've usually gotten this type of error from windows 95, not so often in 98 & Netscape was the primary offender.

Thanks in advance for any help.
