Driver ODBC ORACLE

When I try to communicate from an ASP webpage to a database ORACLE with the ORACLE ODBC driver, I have the following problem :

A recordset with a column varchar does not return anything whereas this one contains a value.
And a recorset with a column of a numerical type return a value.

With the Microsoft ODBC Driver, there is no problem : the record set always returns a value whatever the column type.
