Yes you can. Idid it as well last year (1999). One possible solution might be to set the clock one year back Why ?
You're using an Oracle Installer version < 3.3.1.1.0 (probably) and than you get strange results.

Description



  The RGS product registration file contained a 2-digit   timestamp.

Likelihood of Occurrence



  100% certainty after Dec 31st, 1999.

Possible Symptoms



  Protection Exception (GPF)
  Access Violation

Workaround



  Set the system clock back to 1999, perform the install,   and reset the system clock back to 2000.

Patches


  Download the

  Y2K Compliant Oracle Installer for Win32 (ver.3.3.1.1.0C) from MetaLink.

  Login to MetaLink at http://www.oracle.com/support/elec_sup/

  In MetaLink V1 select the Downlaod button to access patches.   In MetaLink V2 select the Patches button.

  1. Select Oracle Installer for the Product and Windows NT for the Platform.
  2. Click Go.
  3. Download the readme and patch.
