PL/SQL problem with OAS on Linux

Hi,

I have a problem with my OAS on Linux Red Hat 6.0. I made a PL/SQL cartridge. Everything is well installed. But when I try to run it it run for a long time and never end and I receive nothing on my screen. Is it probably that Linux Oracle8i can't read from a database who is installed in oracle7.
But I can connect with sqlplus from my linux to the database on Oracle 7. Is there someone who can help me please.
