1/ Objects Used for the interconnection with the base of Oracle8 data:
Odbc Express train 5.05
2/ Version of ODBC installed: MDAC 2.1 3/ Drivers Oracle 8.50 4/ Configuration of the access to the data via ODBC: Cursor Lib DRIVER Cursor Typ Forward only Isolation Read Commited Concurrency Read Only
Problem: The fields of the DATE Type do not arise correctly. Solution: To pass Cursor Lib in ODBC mode.
Configuration with the cursor Lib in mode ODBC Problem: The use of the mode ODBC create a temporary file located in C:\Temp of a aproximative size of 450 Mo for 120 000 rows read.
1 / Why does ODBC turn over incoherent values on the columns of the type DATE when the Oracle drivers is configured with Cursor typ with DRIVER? 2 / If the only solution is to use the mode Cursor typ in ODBC mode, how to define the directory or will be located the temporary file of the transactions?
Please Help me !!
