Hi

I tried to export a table so I could drop it and re-import it to get it all into one extent. However, when I import I get this. Can someone help me out and explain why? Thanks in advance. Oracle 7.3.4 on Solaris 2.6.

<snip>
Import file: expdat.dmp > /tmp/aw.dmp
Enter insert buffer size (minimum is 4096) 30720>

IMP-00038: Could not find environment character set handle
IMP-00021: operating system error - error code (dec 2, hex 0x2)
IMP-00000: Import terminated unsuccessfully

I've gone through the docs about language and NLS settings. I've set all the environment variables I can find but no luck. And my tables are getting larger and slower... :-(

If you can, an email to andrew.williamson who's at highland.gov.uk would be great. Thanks!
