Our company just adopted Designer6.0 as our data modeling tool. We have some sybase databases and want to capture the design models from these sybase databases. We have encountered two problems:

1). We use ODBC to connect to sybase. But we quite often get the GPF error either before or right after information from the database. We use the intersolve ODBC for sybase 11. Is there a way to fix this?

2). Sometimes we did managed to capture the model from sybase. But some tables in the server model contains zero column. The reasons is because sybase is case sensitive and Oralce is not. For example, I have a sybase  table called IMG_table. I guess when Oracle Designer use IMG_TABLE to extract information from sybase, which end up getting nothing. Therefore, in server model, there is a table called IMG_TABLE, but with no column in it. My question is, is there any option that I can set to avoid this?

If you have any ideas, please let me know. Your assistance is highly appreciated!!

Brian
