slow forms 5.0 perf on citrix

HI,
I am running an application built with oracle forms 4.5 and 5.0 ( on different servers). Users connect to the metaframe 1.8 servers via the ICA client over tcpip. The server that seems slow is the one that serves out the forms 5.0 forms.

When first logging in and loading up the app the intial screens are dog slow.like slow mo. I guess it seems to be related to some kind of caching. If I log in with the same user using another connection the screens update fine.

the server is:

compaq 1600
1 GB of RAM
dual pIII 450
swap file at 2.5 GB
peak users so far 20
18GB R5 LD
NTTSE 4.0
MS SP4
No citrix hotfixes

has anyone seen this befor or would anyone know why sessions or forms would be sluggish at startup?
