you can't obtain the client without the entire server. fortunately the server is available for free evaluation downloads.

ftp://ftp.oracle.com/pub/www/otn/linux/815shipstd.tgz

it's a 250MB file so make sure you are using an ftp client that supports resuming interrupted transfers.
