Hello,

My company is developing an e-commerce site that requires a large amount of associative data for which we've chosen Oracle 8i. Now, we'll need a convenient internal system to view, tweak, and create data by a content team without having everyone learn SQL. Our schema isn't too complex but there is a bunch of highly specific referential data.

An intranet web-based application would seem to be the best choice. Maybe one could use JSPs and JDBC to make these form webpages, though time is definitely at a premium. On the other hand, is Oracle Forms or some other form builder a viable option for this type of situation?

Regardless of what we choose, since we currently have a small number of people, we might be able to afford to kludge something together quick and then revisit it later.

Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
