For the SQL Gurus...



I need to convert a hierarchical query written in Oracle SQL
using "START WITH" and "CONNECT BY " clauses of the "SELECT" statement
to standard SQL-92 statement.



Any pointers on how to do this other than the hard way to iterate
through all the steps.
