i have some major problems at the end of the installation of 8.0.5 with linux redhat 6.1..

the installation works out fine...but the system echos me a segmentation fault when the system tries to start the oracle engine...

i know that i have to set some major shared variables and i did so...

i also increased the shhmax in /proc/sys/kernel to 10 000 000 000 ... but the error is still the same

instead of mounting u01 to u04 on seperate drives...i just opended directories for each of them...

i used default database to install oracle...

well help is needed and i would be thankful to read from you

thanks
