Hi Sybrand,

  Thanks for your help. The database now started normally and don't crash again after comment out the MTS line. Maybe I installed MTS during installation.

   I am a beginner in NT environment and I used Oracle 7.3.4 on Solaris before. I remember that I need add one more line in the service file on Solaris as

orasrv 1521/tcp

DO I need to add this line to service file on NT if I use TCP/TP? Is the NEt8 servcie name still orasrv?
