clob problems

 Hi...

I am getting error ORA-22920: "row not locked" and ORA-06512: in "SYS.DBMS_LOB", if I try to write my clob output stream.

• the clob is initialized with EMPTY_CLOB()
• i receive clob locator via a stored procedure
• i create the outputstream on it
• i do out.write("stuff to write) and then it crashes!

Any ideas??
