Personal Oracle - WIN95 how to connect

I have Personal Oracle 7 for Windows 95 installed on my laptop and have sucessfully imported a 7.3 dump file exported by a NT machine. I can see the tables and data in the 'Personal Oracle Navigator'. All this is in an attempt to have the database I usually 'play with' at work on my home laptop for an all-in=one setup for plane flights etc...

Now here comes the troubles...I have the 16 bit client installed ( we run an old 16 bit app ) which allows me to connect to the 7.3 database at work (configured via SQL Net Easy Config). I can TNSPING the Tcp- loopback connection from both the 16bit and WIN95 TNSPINGS. But that old 16bit app that runs on this laptop against the NT Oracle hangs ( have to CTRL/ALT/DEL ) on startup right where it connects to the database.  Any ideas? Seems the 16bit driver is messing up

Thanks in advance for any suggestions. PS I can't install NT on this laptop. Received on Fri Oct 22 1999 - 00:57:01 CDT
