setup.exe does nothing

setup.exe program returns silently without doing anything.

I'm installing "Personal Oracle8 Multi-Language Edition for Windows NT and Windows 95" (as downloaded from
http://www.oracle.com/database/download/o8_personal/nt/html/download.htm.) I ran RUNME.BAT, which expanded the installation fileset into the "staging area." I'm running NTWkstn4.0Service Pack 3.

My hard disk is 1.27GB with 449MB free. Is that the problem? Could that be insufficient and if so does setup silently refuse to proceed? Any help appreciated. Received on Sat Oct 16 1999 - 23:09:25 CDT
