I wrote the exam last year. I am getting better at anticipating the questions as I go - I have written the first 3 now.

I remember that there wasn't much on PL/SQL. If you have gone to the ITO course, then work through the workbook a couple of times, getting the coding down pat. There were several questions of "spot the error". The questions are not conceptual, but day-to-day stuff, so spent time on the keyboard on a test db, doing coding.

Most people have to retry the first exam if they are not familiar with the process (that's what I keep telling myself).

Yes, the self-test is similar to the exam. Relax, don't rush, there is lots of time. Mark and pass over the questions you are unsure of, do all the easy ones first and return to the hard ones later.
