Re: Oracle 8.0.4 & Windows 98

If the server and client are separate machines, you don't need the NET8 client. Install Net8 on the server and use your Sql*Net 2.3 or whatever on the client. The app will talk to Sql*Net and Oracle will take care of Sql*Net talking to NET8.
