interMedia and japanese language support...

Information needed....

Has anyone ever tried using the fulltext query facilities of interMedia with Japanese language support ?

Are there any pitfalls ?

Where can I find some information about how the Japanese lexer / fuzzy match works ? - I did not find much documentation on technet.oracle.com

Which charachter set should I prefer for the database - I understand that the japanese lexer does not support UTF-8 :-(

How can I test that it works properly (I don't understand / speak japanese)
