In my environment we are using the Oracle Names Service and my
SQLNET.ORA file is configured to point to it for resolving instances.
I'm trying to figure out how to connect Paradox9 to Oracle using the
Borland SQL Links product that comes as part of Corel WordPerfect Office
2000 Professional. I can connect through ODBC data sources, but this
adds a layer which slows down access & SQL Links is supposed to be the
"direct" way to go.
I'd appreciate some pointers from someone who has successfully done
this.
