hi Jimmy,

   On Solaris platform , SQL*Plus help and demo tables have to be specifically installed - the installer asks u a question regarding this when you install the software. It appears it has not been installed in one machine.

   Rerun the Oracle installer and install only the documentation from it. But beware that this may take up lots of space since the installer will install documents on a lot of other products as well (probably).
