Report Scheduler (Unix) Ideas?

I'm interrested hearing how folks schedule reports from a Forms 4.5 (or whatever version) so that the more than one report can run at a time. Do you use the cron utility? Did you write something custom?

So, imagine a menu of reports running in Forms 4.5 on a Unix system. When the users goto run these reports (in the background - not at their screen)... how do you handle it?

Shell scripts? Tables to hold requests?
