Mail on oracle

We are currently using SQL Server 7 but our manager wants to migrate to ORACLE.
i think Oracle has more functionnalities than SQL Server but i have a question about the Mail Service.
There is the functionnality in SQL Server 7 (a mail service) and stored procedures about sending mail and retrieveing mails. Does it exist in ORACLE and if YES could someone tell more about that. it was great!!!
