    For this upgrade the migration assiatnt works well. Make sure your System tablespace is large enough for 8.1.5. If it's not already ample, add a 200M datafile. You may find that 8.1.5's PL/SQL compiler will reject some code that was valid in 8.0 Either be prepared to fix some small things or set up a sample 8.1.5 database to try your code first. If you're using enterprise manager, you'll need to move to version 2.0.4 (in a separate Oracle home with a separate tnsnames.ora) since 8.1.5 won't run against earlier versions.

    It's actually quite straightforward. Just be sure to leave yourself some time for the inevitable stuff that always comes up in a migration or upgrade.
