Oracle 7 and Firewall

We're having a problem tryng to access an Oracle database through a firewall. Oracle is reassigning the port after the initial connection to a random port, not the port assigned in the TNSNAMES.ora file.

Has anyone had this problem, and found a workaround?

We are using Oracle 7, so the use_shared_socket = true won't work, thats an Oracle 8 solution.
