OEM Error while performing RMAN backup

Upon trying to do a RMAN back up thru OEM, I am getting the following error after executing the back up thru Back up Wizard:

THE SERVER THREW AN EXCEPTION I receive no job thru the job history (like I normally would if the back up failed or was successful).

If anyone can provide any assistance with solving this problem it will be greatly appreciated.
