hi,everyone,

these days, I ran into a problem of oracle enterprise manager. I have an enterprise manager installed in my NT server, but it seems the management console can't communicate with the intelligent agent of another oraclei server which is hosted in the sun solaris. every time, I use the "discover node" function, the management console give me a message "unable to contact the oracle agent on that node". but if I checked solaris via all means including tracing agent log file and using command dbsnmp_status, all indicate that the agent has been successfully started. by the way,if I choose not to use agent to manage that node, I can find the oracle server and have some limited functions. And my enterprise manager works perfectly to manage other two oracle 8i server on NT servers. if you know something about this, please reply this message or email me at rfu_at_etang.net

thanks in advance!
