Can't install Oracle8-Client on NT

Hi,



I installed on several PC's (Windows NT) the Oracle 8 Client
without any problems but on some PC's (same configuration
so far as I could see till now) it doesn't work.
I get the message: Failed to create service for Net8 Client



Did anybody have this problem before and know the reason/cause?
