Why not forget about all the ODBC hassles? You may use my Oraxcel LITE
utility to connect to Oracle from Excel. It's fully free and allows you to
send queries to the database and receive the results in your spreadsheet.
Oraxcel may be found and downloaded from http://members.aol.com/gjlinker
Oraxcel can execute parametrised queries. Examples are on the site as animated gifs and lotus screencam movies. Also much info is in the FAQ.txt docuement.
