I didn't say that anyone had to understand FORTRAN - just FORTRAN concepts. Concepts
like records, sequential processing, etc. For a large number of MIS applications, the
main gist of what they do is read a record, do something with the data, write a record,
go back and do it again. Gygy's messages suggest that he doesn't understand the concept
of records and loops.
