Sign up for a free account. Then follow the "Documentation" link - then "product" - then "Oracle8i Server, Release 8.1.5" - then "Oracle Call Interface Programmer's Guide" down after the "Application Development" heading. OCI is not for the faint of heart, but it can be very fast and gives a maximum amount of control when interfacing with Oracle. Good luck,
