Hello, I have a Ph.D. degree in a scientific field (but not computer related). However, I use computers a lot and also use Personal Oracle. In fact, I became so interested in Oracle that I got certified as Oracle DBA by studying myself. Now I want to become an Oracle DBA and started to look for an entry-level job. I am really frustrated that once a recruiter or company see my background, then they lose interests. I am a quick learner and very analytical. I am confident that given the opportunity, I can get enough required DBA skills in a few months. I don't mind being paid less, I just want to get the experience and show my capability. Any advice or suggestion on how I can get into this or an intern opportunity is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help and time in advance.
