JDBC Thin Drivers and v$session Entries

When I connect to Oracle 8 using the JDBC Thin Drivers, the osuser, machine, terminal and program fields in the v$session table are always some generic value. (i.e., osuser = 'jdbcuser', machine = 'jdbcclient', terminal = 'unknown', program = 'JDBC-1.0-Client').

Is there any way to set these values to something more useful? Received on Mon Jul 19 1999 - 18:13:51 CDT
