Hello professionals,

I'm a novice in managing database online. I have absolutely no idea what Oracle & ColdFusion can or cannot do. In terms of complexity of setting up, please advise which is better off for a beginner like me.

I have decided to go in depth into only one database prog. My scope of database is to manage a database of a lot of companies (few thousands), each having its own discount. Also they have to be sorted into different categories like Shopping, or perhaps Food.

Please advise which prog I should delve into and what are the resources I need.

If the answer for the above requires too much of you, please forward a URL link so that I can look it up myself.

Thank you so much, in advance.
